We are delighted to announce the shortlist for the 2017 Basil Bunting Poetry Prize. This year saw a record number of outstanding entries, which our judge, Ahren Warner, has managed to whittle down from the hundreds to these seven poets. In alphabetical order the shortlisted poets are:
