A chance to hear two distinguished poets read their work. Rachael Boast’s first collection, Sidereal, won the Seamus Heaney Centre for Poetry Prize, 2012. Void Studies, realising a project that Arthur Rimbaud proposed but never got round to writing, was published in 2016. Gillian Allnutt has published eight collections of poetry and is the recipient of the Queen’s Gold Medal for Poetry, 2016. The Medal is awarded for excellence in poetry, and was presented to Gillian Allnutt by The Queen. A new collection, wake, is forthcoming from Bloodaxe.
