Join Jackie Kay, one of Scotland’s most celebrated voices, for a unique discussion about poetry with T.S. Eliot prize-winning poet, Roger Robinson. In this event, Jackie will interview Roger about his writing process, his past, and his priorities. Roger will also read from his prize-winning collection, A Portable Paradise (Peepal Tree, 2019). Jackie Kay is a prolific writer of poetry, novels, short stories and plays who has enjoyed great acclaim for her work for both adults and children. Formerly the Scottish Makar, Jackie’s latest book is Bessie Smith (Faber), a BBC Radio 4 Book of the Week, and her poetry collections include Fiere and Bantam (Picador).
